God is the ultimate authority over the whole universe. When the tyrants of this world try to play God, chaos ensues. Proverbs 28 gives insight on how to resist the sinful demands of these wicked rulers, while reiterating that God will make all things right.

The name Jesus Christ carries doubles as a creed: Jesus is King of all. He's not just king of one tribe or nation, but all nations. He alone has complete authority over this world. We must live our lives according to this creed, even unto death.
